Landon Michael speaks for Speedway Children’s Charities in a recently produced PSA to raise awareness for the organization. It features his recent single, “Might As Well Be Me,” which speaks to anyone who strives for something more in life.
“To be a part of a cause that impacts the lives of children who are sick or less fortunate is such an honor and privilege for me,” says Michael. “Speedway Children’s Charities is an impeccable organization. My small contribution to helping inform communities about the work they do is a very humbling experience.”
Speedway Children’s Charities help kids lead productive lives and ensure they have the same opportunities no matter what obstacle they are facing. Speedway’s local chapters are partners in change working with a broad range of people and organizations to identify and resolve pressing issues dealing with children in their communities. Their goal is to ensure every child in need be given the tools to build a better, brighter and healthy future.
“We are thankful to Landon Michael for being a part of the video for Speedway Children’s Charities. Through Landon’s song and message, we will be able to raise awareness for our cause. We cannot tell you what it means to everyone here at SCC for his kindness,” states Saundy Hutto, National Director of Business Development.
Scheduled for a December 1 release, the spot will run on local television, NASCAR speedways affiliated with SCC and the web.
Speedway Children’s Charities is celebrating its 30-year anniversary. Since the organization was founded in 1982, SCC has raised more than $47 million and made a difference in the lives of more than 11.3 million children across the United States.
